Level Up Your Business By Cloud Computing

In progressively competitive market environment, the main challenges that a small and medium business faces is finding ways in which to compete with large business firms on equal terms. One of the most problems they face is that the availability of the restricted resources. But the introduction of Cloud Computing in IT field has solved this problem

Cloud computing is one amongst the widely-used technology nowadays. It’s sound a sort of complicated subject that needs information to understand, but the idea itself is absolutely simple. Cloud computing involves shift from the user's premises to a remote location. The staff keeps wherever they're, however the computing hardware and softwares that they use is moved off premises. Businesses signed in with a cloud computing service provider by paying a monthly fee and might access all the softwares they required for their business. The advantages of this method are infinite particularly for the small and medium sized business user.

Software-as-a-Service

Software could be a major price center. It’s not simply a matter of the large licensing fees that users got to pay. The continuously growing sophistication of programs implies that frequently updates of the softwares are required which adds to the value. Then there's the maintenance which needs qualified employees. With the crucial role that IT plays in business operations, this implies that qualified and personnel are required. As business grows, new applications are required, that all over again involves major investment.

With Software as a Service (SaaS) all of these issues are removed. Cloud computing permits users to access softwares that are installed on the cloud service provider’s servers. Since multiple users have access to the software, the value is shared among them and no capital investment is needed. A small monthly fee provides users access to the softwares they have. Installation and updates of the softwares are that the responsibility of the service provider and these prices are covered in the monthly charges. All updates and maintenance is completed by the service provider therefore cloud computing users don't have to use IT employees. Since the service provider operate 24x7, facilitate regarding any issues that will arise is accessible around the clock .Therefore disruptions in working is decreased.

Infrastructure-as-a-service

An onsite IT department could be a major cost center. The investment in servers, storage and alternative hardware may be very large. And as storage requirements grow and applications become more complicated higher servers and large storage space become a repeated cost to business. Further the requirement to allocate expensive floor space to deal with the instrumentation, the necessity of climate management, power backups, a stock of spare components and a expensive employees to keep up the instrumentation are out of the reach of the many businesses. Cloud computing uses hardware that's set at the service provider's facility therefore no instrumentation purchase, climate controlled surroundings or stock of spare components is needed. Same monthly fee covers the utilization of the hardware, and its maintenance and upgrades. This implies that no staff must use. And all over again, due to the 24x7 operation of the service provider downtime is decreased . In addition, the in-built redundancies within the cloud computing environment mean that disaster recovery way is quicker and reliable.

The Dot In Your Gmail Address Doesn’t Matter - PSA

Sarah Perez posted an article on TechCrunch some hours ago saying, she's being receiving another person's messages since 2008, she wrote:

"...a woman named Sarah Perez is probably very frustrated by technology. No, not me, a different Sarah Perez. She signs up at websites to receive information, and it never comes. Friends invite her to gatherings, and she never hears about it. She tries to reset her password, but the password reset never arrives. You see, Sarah’s problem is that, since around 2008, I’ve been getting her email."

You just have to realize the dot in your Gmail is nothing but a freak.. She continue saying, " I don’t know how the problem started exactly, but the other Sarah Perez can’t seem to remember her email address. It’s not sarah.perez@, as she mistakenly believes. The dot doesn’t matter – the email still comes to me."

So you think this is a bug or what?

Watch Youtube on your iPad with Youplayer

(Credit: Screenshot by Matt Elliott/CNET )

Matt Elliot of CNET says:
Since Google has yet to release a YouTube app for the iPad, I went searching for another player. And I didn't have to look far: yesterday YouPlayer was sitting at the top of the charts (today, it's currently No. 5 on the free apps chart).

So after I suggested using YouPlayer to a guy, and about two hours ago the guy turn up saying he damn love the app

(Credit: Screenshot by Matt Elliott/CNET )

So Matt Elliott says in his review of the app that, "I can report the app has played every video I've come across, including many I know did not play with Jasmine. On the downside, there are some useful features you get with Jasmine that are missing with YouPlayer. When watching a video, you can subscribe to it or mark it as a favorite, but you can't view or add comments or create playlists. You also aren't given the capability to play videos in the background; close the app and the video you are watching stops. Lastly, YouPlayer serves a banner ad when you are browsing via the Featured, Most Viewed, Trending, Nearby, Search, and Top Rated buttons. (An in-app purchase of 99 cents gets rid of the ads.)"

"The menu options run along the bottom of the screen. You can sign in to your account via the Settings button. After doing so, a More button gets added to the menu bar, where you can access your favorites, subscriptions, and your own videos." Matt said.

Hi pals, we've posted about tutorial quiet a while, I have been looking for this since last year when i'm building an article blog for one of my friend. so i brought to you a Calender for your blog achieve.. I saw this tutorial on a blog last week but not easy, so i took my time to take the codes from the blog and add it to others from MYBLOGGERTRICKS. Meanwhile, this tutorial is for only Blogger not Wordpress, because Wordpress already has a calender widget.. So lets do this...

1- Add/Install Archive calendar on your Blog

To do this:

Configure the options (as shown in the screenshot blow).
Set style to Flat list.
Uncheck "Show Oldest Posts First".
choose archive Frequency as Monthly and Date Format should be set to anything.

archive settings

Then Click save.

2- Go to Blogger Dashbord > Settings > Template (Don't forget to Backup your template). After that click on Edit HTML > Proceed

Then find the following code (with Ctrl + F):

If you couldn't see the code, then search for BlogArchive, (you will find a code similar to the one shown above).

3- Replace the above code in step#2 with the following code:

4- Now search
and paste the following lines of code above it:

Note: Look at the above code (at the beginning), starting from
var bcLoadingImage = "http://mybloggertricks.googlecode.com
to
var headInitial = ["Su","Mo","Tu","We","Th","Fr","Sa"]; that is where you can change the text "View Archive", loading image, ASCII characters for navigation arrows and change the abbreviation for Day names.

Customizing the widget:

As you may observed (if you've already saved your tempelate), the widget will look dull, until you do some styling and customization by adding colours.. Now,

Search for </b:skin> (inside the template box), and just above it paste the following css codes:

1* Use this code (If you are using a lighter theme with white background):

2** use this code instead (If you are using a Dark template with black background or similar):

Dark Archive Calendar

More Customization for LIGHT theme:

To change text color in blue edit 0080ff
To change background color of the cell with blue background in active mode edit 53A9FF
To change the cell colour in mouse hover mode edit 72B9FF
