How to monitor your site with email and sms:

...................................................................................................................

You need nothing than to create a copy of a spreadsheet document in your Google Docs.
You will have to click on the link, and click on Yes when you saw any notification, then make a copy. After this you will see a spreadsheet document open up, it look like this picture below or similar to it.

Spreadsheet

Just fill in your website URL and your email address. It accepts multiple URLs, but you have to separate them with commas (as shown on the sheet).
Next is to put an email that you will get notified of any changes in your website's/websites' up-time status. So if you will like to also get an mobile phone notification, then set SMS notifications to Yes.
After that, Click on the Website Monitor button from your menu and click Initialize, and the script will run.
To grant the access to your Google Calendar data will be required, so just grant permission, and Once this is done, return to the Website Monitoring option in your menu, and click on Start Monitoring.

Folks, you've finished the settings and congrats!!!

Note: Sometimes, you may want to enable/disable SMS alerts or even disable the script. And to disable the script, just simply erase the email field and that's all.

About Google Calender
.................................................

Google Calendar is a free time-management web application offered by Google. It became available on April 13, 2006, and exited the beta stage in July 2009. Users are required to have a Google Account in order to use the software.

Google integrated Google Calendar with Gmail (its e-mail service). When sending a message to someone, you can choose to attach an event invitation. Clicking on the option brings up a form. Once you fill out the form, Google Calendar puts the event on your calendar. If the recipient has a compatible calendar program (like Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook), accepting the invitation results in a new scheduled event on his or her own calendar.
